Books can be renewed continuously unless requested by another customer.

To allow you to concentrate on other things we will automatically attempt to renew your items for you a few days before the due date. We will email to let you now if the renewal has been successful and the new date. To prevent getting fined it is important to check your Edge Hill email account or Library My Account regularly.

Fines will only be charged on items that are in high demand and that are not returned by the due date. The high demand fine rate is 25p per day.

You can still renew items yourself in the following ways:

  • Via the help line (06195 650800)

  • Via the library catalogue

  • At any staffed University Library

More information about borrowing items from the library can be found here.
