The University library is always keen to hear what titles you need for your studies. Although we buy resources recommended by your tutors, we know students discover many useful treasures through their own research.
If you have discovered a book which the library does not already have, you can request it in 2 ways:
- Student Suggests
- Add a Book
Use Student Suggests when you would like to recommend a book or electronic book (ebook) which would be useful for other students on your course or module.
Use Add a Book if you would like to recommend a print copy of a book which would be useful for your own particular area of research but not heavily used by others on your course (e.g. for a dissertation or specific research question). You can still request it, however you should do this through the Add a Book service.
