Student Volunteers can log their hours online towards a university recognised Volunteering Award, at Bronze (50 hours), Silver (100 hours) and Gold (150+ hours) levels.
This award supports you to think about the skills you gain through your current volunteering. It is a valuable addition to your CV. On completion you will receive a Certificate as evidence of your engagement.
For more information about the award, contact the Volunteering Advisers in Careers, or visit Volunteering Award
If you are not currently volunteering and would like support in finding the perfect role for you, you can start by searching for volunteering roles on the Careers Vacancy system, where you will find over a hundred opportunities based within 20 miles of the Ormskirk Campus. Roles include: volunteering with children, conservation and the environment, historical projects, performing arts, and supporting offenders.
You can also make an appointment to speak with Volunteering Advisers or contact them using the online “Ask a Question,” form - both via the Careers website
