Although rare, this can happen from time to time when a lot of students need to use SPSS at the same time. Whilst SPSS is installed on all computers across the Ormskirk Campus, the University has a limited number of licences for use at the same time. So, if you can open SPSS on the computer but it doesn’t allow you to save or open files then please contact your nearest help desk, or contact the Catalyst Helpdesk in person or by calling 01695 650800.
If it is critical that you access your SPSS work quickly then ask a member of staff and they may be able to use a staff computer to enable you to print or copy data/syntax or outputs into different software for you as a temporary measure.
