Paraphrasing is when we sum up an author’s work in our own words. If you do this you must create an in-text citation and include the full reference in you bibliography or reference list at the end of your document.
The citation can be done in the below two ways, either is correct.
- Turner (2013) argues that academic writing is important.
- It has been suggested that academic writing is important (Turner, 2013)
